Yum! We got the #7 and #8. The picture with the brighter red meat is the #7, which we enjoyed more, though both were delicious. Great portion sizes for the price. Next time I come I will definitely be trying their other prepared food.

I ordered 5 sandwiches from there because I've heard great things about this Vietnamese restaurant. I ordered #2 (special ham combo), #5 (meatball sandwich), #8 (grilled pork sandwich), #13 (meatballs and egg sandwich), #9 (BBQ chicken sandwich). Initially I wanted #18 (grilled chicken sandwich) but they didn't have it at the time so they suggested #9. The sandwiches were great but the #8 was a bit dry, they needed to add a bit more sauce. Can't beat the prices though!

Sandwiches are great. It's my favorite banh mi place in Oakland. Unfortunately they only operate from 7-3 on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. It gets busy, so expect a bit of a wait.

I got the special combo ham sandwich without cilantro and jalapeno - but I found a jalapeno in my sandwich. My partner also found jalapeno in #20 grilled pork with lemon grass even it was ordered with no jalapeno. Beside that complaint, the banh mi was really good! The bread is soft and crunchy without hurting the roof of our mouth and it's fully stuffed with the meats and veggies while being affordable! Although the inside of the shop is clean and organized, the streets is seemingly sketchy and dirty looking so be cautious. It might be hard to find parking. Otherwise, it's worth to stop by to try!

Best Banh mi ever. The line was so long but the service was fast. $5.50 per sandwich. Other food was good too. There is a parking lot behind the building in case you cannot find parking. They do have an updated hours. They open from Sunday to Friday from 7:30 to 3ish pm. After couple months, I finally came again and they are still as good as before.

Loved the ham and meatball with egg. Bread was super crunchy and soft all at the same time. Sandwich was cheap, full of flavor, and delicious. Also got the shredded pork which was just meh and the shrimp app which was different. The Vietnamese coffee is not overly sweet and liked it a lot. The area is about what you would expect, but it was fine going mid day. Place was busy, but the line moves quick and there was plenty of street parking at 1pm on a Friday right out front. Egg with meatball was not a combo I was expecting, but the 2 flavors we’re delicious together. Would return. Cash and credit card accepted (3.9% fee for credit).
